Rejection 60/100

“I’m sorry, but I only like you as a friend. I know you probably are hurt, but I would still like to be friends.” Darcy said, smiling awkwardly at Sam.

The bitter memory pained Darcy each day since. Sam had wanted nothing to do with her and she had lost her best friend. She always told him things she could never tell anyone and he always told sick jokes that made her laugh her ass off. Darcy missed him and the bittersweet memories always refreshed the pain of rejection.

What a cruel thing rejection can be, tearing two friends apart.
