The Writer Behind The Blog

Hey guys! Kate here!

Welcome to my blog. I went inactive for a while, but now I am trying to get back on track. A lot of things have changed for me, so I had to divert my attention to those issues.

Anyway, Here are a few things you should know about me:

  1. I am a twenty-one year old Junior, studying English with a focus in Creative Writing and Women and Gender studies. I normally go to school in the US, but I am currently spending the semester abroad in London. I will probably do a post about studying abroad when I get home to the US. I would love to be a full time novelist, but I also wouldn’t mind working for a nonprofit. (I worked at a nonprofit; it was great!)
  2.  I’m a bit of an awkward dork who loves to read. I am currently finishing up the Divergent Trilogy and I am catching up on the Percy Jackson series. I am going to finish up the Mistborn trilogy after I finish those and then, I might start Game of Thrones. Feel free to suggest books to me. I am always looking for new things to read.
  3. The goal of this blog is to get me writing everyday and to help me become a better writer. I welcome constructive criticism and I try to incorporate it into my work. Sometimes, the content of this blog is silly or genre focused. Other times, the content comes from a very personal place and this is the only way to get it out of my system.

Thank you for reading that! You can contact me here on my blog,

  1. Well done! I enjoyed reading this, it was so well thought out and put together. I can’t wait to continue reading posts from you. 🙂

  2. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I like the sound of your writing aspirations and wanted to take the chance to wish you all the best and as much success for you as is humanly possible.

Your passion is clear and you set your sights high so work hard to build your wings and take a run up, then I’m sure you will fly 🙂

Plus I think your hunger for experience and absorbing as much from life and the world as possible, from all walks and wonders is a fantastic drive to have at your age, and in the long run will only help to strengthen and enrich your writing through your growing knowledge and experience.

Who knows, maybe you even write a poem or two? 😉

    1. You are very welcome! A lot of your poetry is fantastic and I look forward to reading more of it! You are a great writer and I wish you the best as well.

Thank you so much! I will do exactly that! After all, I strive to work hard and learn as much as I can. Thank you for even checking out my blog and best of wishes on your journey.
